Counsellors
The RAK Foundation has a list of approved Addictions Counsellors from which it will accept applications for funding (see below for current list). These Counsellors all work for referring organizations that have been approved by the RAK Foundation Board.
The Board will, over time, expand its relationship with referring organizations, as our own pool of donations permits.
The RAK Board has targeted several potential organizations in the community that deal with addictions counselling for specific target groups, e.g. seniors, youth etc.) and will make presentations to these groups at the appropriate time. Any new organization must meet with the Board, and discuss how we might work together and the qualifications of its Counsellors.
Currently our strongest relationship is with VIHA Mental Addiction Services and the many Counsellors working there. The Counsellors at VIHA support thousands of people in the greater Victoria area who are recovering from substance abuse and addiction.

- Boys and Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria
