Investing in Individual Recoveries
The evidence of the effects of substance abuse is all around us. We can see it on the streets in our communities, in our crime statistics, in increasing demands on our health care system, and far too often, in the shattered lives of family or friends or neighbours.
Many people in our community are struggling with their individual journeys of recovery, and the RAK Foundation has been established with the following mission: "To provide financial assistance to individuals sincerely pursuing recovery from a substance addiction, where progress towards recovery is jeopardized by financial constraints."

Read some examples of how sometimes just a little help - timely, compassionate help, when all official avenues have been denied - can provide those "small bridges" when a person's journey to recovery is jeopardized.
